Summary Statement
The Effort Residential is a 43 bed facility that also houses a 5-10 bed detoxification modality separate from the residential clients.
Both modalities are co-ed. Both facility operations are 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Referral sources for Residential are from a wide
range of the greater Sacramento Region, including neighboring Counties. The primary referral source of our population comes directly from
CDCR. The overall average length of stay is 60 - 90 days for most clients and up to 150 days maximum. A team-player attitude is essential.
Required Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, Training, and Licensure):
- Must have a current driver's license, insurance, and registration with a clean record
- Ability to transport clients to various locations throughout the greater Sacramento region with an agency van (12 passenger van)
- Willing to use own vehicle on occasion for short trips with 1 or 2 clients.
- Must pass a background check (no active probation or parole)
- Office duties: i.e. phones, filing sorting, faxing, making copies.
- Ability to occasionally lift 10-20 lbs.
- Ability to learn and uphold the clients to the "House Rules"
- Preference is 10-20 hours a week with days and times to be decided upon personal schedule
- Ability to display an unconditional positive regard with a widely diversified population of clients in an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment setting.
